The Concern of Muses

First piece of 2013, I originally speed painted a face last year that i've been wanting to finish ever since and finally got around to it. I came across a photo by last year and I thought, what a lovely expression, I want to paint it *-* unfortunately it was not posted as stock, but she let me paint it anyway yay! She has since removed the photo I used as reference from her gallery, which i guess means i'll be only one to ever use it as stock reference. I'm quite pleased with how it came out, lots of empty space in this one but I wanted to give it the sort of feeling like something fantastic was starting to pop out of nothing, which is what muses do really, inspire us to pull fantastic stuff out of nowhere. I had so much fun playing with color.
